This place is having a small zoo and a museum apart from a banyan tree believed to be 800 years old. The access to the tree is rightly prohibited as the tree seems not in very good shape, pillars are being used to provide support to the branches. Authorities have constructed an elevated platform which provides decent view of the tree. The tiny zoo is kind of okay but can be visited. I really liked the ancient sculptures from various Hindu temples which are unfortunately been damaged by invaders. Overall, you should visit this place if you're around the area and have 3-4 hours at your disposal.

Very nice to see animals in their natural habitat right beside caged domestic and wild animals. Saw fewer snakes here than I did at family parties, very disappointed. Couldn't find mother branch of Banyan tree but saw other branches.

The place is quite well maintained and works as a good picnic place for a few hours. Especially for families. The zoo displays various birds, reptiles in cages which are very rare to find normally. The deer park is quite spacious for deer to roam around and there's a buck as well which roams around freely in the compound. The deer park is not reachable for visitors but only seen from a distance. Even the big banyan tree is only watchable from an elevated walkway but not approachable and can't be touched. Maybe it's for preservation which is understandable. There's also an aquarium house which holds various species of fish in aquariums which is well maintained.

Oldest Banyan tree with a canopy spread of three acres. Good for the quick visit. Entry into the tree premises is restricted but can be viewed from outside and not a limitation. There is a raised platform, but it is not useful as it gives the top view of the Banyan tree. Also there are ornamental trees planted between the platform and tree, that hides the view. Good for plant enthusiasts. Other may not have much interest. But there are museum, relocated temple, and children's park. So family can spend some time here. Parking facility available for free.

Good open place for passing time ⏲️ and to relax. The Banyan tree 🌳 itself is 800 yrs old so its being restored. The aerial roots (udalu in Telugu) are spread over acres of land of one main tree. The view and feel of such majestic tree is amazing.

There is a museum, a temple, a dargah, a zoo & deer park and a children's park constructed along with this for day time camping and picnic with family and friends.

The whole place is very clean and neatly maintained. Kids can play happily all around and they'll enjoy the wildlife in the region.

The temple there acts as a display for centuries old ruins from all around India. There are stones brought from various timelines and given with details. Thats such a delight to see so many hundreds of years old.

Nice place to visit with kids to explore this site. Banyan Tree here is aged more than 500 year old. We visited on Friday so Musium was closed.

Just Okey place!
Nothing to watch here. It is located in mahabubnagar town. 3kms from mettugadda. Dedicated paid parking available for Four and two wheelers. Parking fee is 20Rupees. And there is a Entry ticket which costs 20Rs per Adults and 10Rs for kids.
The main attraction of this place the biggest and ancient Banyan tree is closed for visiters and only allowed to see from outside.
One archeology museum located here. And one Temple and zoo park also located.
Very poor maintenance by management. No proper sign boards arranged. Completely ignored by government. If focused by TS tourism department it will attract more tourists. Disappointed 😞
