Perandapalli forest water falls

Its a beautiful place and can be reached only by bike its kind of offroading for about 500 meters..
Poeple travel by car should park it far and go by walk.
Water seems to be dark brownish and water flow was less too..

Its a good falls near perandapalli village. There r two ways to get here. Kids would enjoy this place. Need to b careful while walking on a small passage. People cooked food and enjoyed. Vehicles can't reach this place, so need to park it at distance and walk. During monsoon it might be difficult to reach this place. We visited in January end when there was perfect water to bath. People were sliding on stones and enjoying. There are no change rooms or toilet facilities. During monsoon it's full of water, not suggested to enter in. It could be dangerous.

It's not a waterfall, it's a small dam. It is located next to the Perandapalli village and the forest that is not overshadowed by developments. It's not a great place to spend a whole day, but it's a great place to spend an hour or two at the weekend. As mentioned earlier there are no developments but there is a tarred road approx. One has to travel more than 500 meters along an untarred road to reach the parking lot. And there isn't a proper parking area. From there you have to walk 100 meters to get to the river.

I didn't find the water in the river very good, a kind of stagnant form. I don't know if it's always like this. Sometimes it's the views along the journey that make the destination more beautiful, and so is this one. It is reached through a nice village. Agriculture is their livelihood. One can see paddy, cabbage, papaya, flower cultivation etc. It is a perfect place for those who want to see the sights as they were then without any high expectations.

Around 40km away from Electronic city towards Hosur.
If anyone is planning, better to go by bike.
Cannot reach till the destination by car.
Not recommended for families. 🙂
So many people claim that it is waste water from varthur lake, Bangalore. so don't dare to take a dip. 😬

Best place for weekend. If you travel by car you will need to park it and have to walk 700 meters to reach the destination. This place is so beautifull. People who visit here should take at least some responsibility to not through trash here!

Its good place to spend time in water. Be carefull when approaching to water side.
Recommended to visit with 5-6 members to enjoy whole day.
Point to be noted need to take care of self when rains , water flows from mountains too so anytime water may increase.
Can walk on the side walls with proper precautions.
Suggested to carry own Food, dedicated bags to keep personal belongings.
If planning to visit by car need to park around 1.5 kms before, by bike means can be reached very near by.

It's not a waterfall. It's just a break Dam in the middle of the forest. You can't enter the water as it's polluted. You can just sit around and have a small picnic for an hour or two. The last 1km to the location is Off-road. Car and bike can get to the location. It's just a 100 Metre walk to the Dam.

Beautiful destination but very sad to say that this place is filled with industrial effluents. We could literally see the imbalance of water based ecosystem as we did spot even a single fish in the water. Its dangerous to animals and human too.
