Ketti Valley View

Ketti Valley is one of the biggest valley in Asia Continent. Ketti Valley view is on the highway about 11 Km from ooty. It is located on the main highway between Ooty and Coonoor. You can also enjoy Telescope experience at this view point by paying a little amount of Rs. 10/. Only 15 minutes required to experience. Avoid visit during rainy or fogg days, mainly during December. It s worth watching and plenty of options for photography as well.

This is an excellent point to stop on way to Conoor. There is a good food joint also maintained by a French Gentleman. Though parking in the view point could be a problem but if weather is fine, you will have a panoramic view..do enough photography there.

Starting from Yellanahalli going up to granduff road way to Ooty, this view of the Ketti Valley is such a pleasure. Feels like one is looking down from an aircraft when passing though at night with all the lights of the little villages down in the valley.Also the toy train that passes 5 times in a day, with it blowing its whistle as it goes past a curve sounds so like a fairy tale.

Visited with family and friends last week over a trail. It is one of the many view points in Ooty, offering spectacular views and stunning beauties of ooty. I am a railway enthusiast & the views of world heritage Nilgiri Mountain railway from this spot are spectacular. One can feel the fresh breeze and the scenic beauty all around. Good for nature lovers.

It is just ok. Telescope maintenance is not good, it is not showing correct place . Staff is not supportive, they are not interested to show the places with telescope. Only two places u can watch with telescope 1.Church 2.ooty convent. Nothing much interesting.

Nice view point not extraordinary but it is good

Good spot surrounding full green. Chill chill cool cool. Climate awesome. Good spot for natural lovers.

Sunrise Is more beauty

This valley located enroute Connoor to Ooty highway, greeted us with its unique beauty. I visited this valley recently (few months back) with my friends and we enjoyed the beautiful views of the valley while driving on the curvy roads. The scenic spot forced us to halt at few locations to catch the mesmerizing wow views of the green clad mountains, form lands, villeges etc, down the valley.

No doubt, its a big treat for nature lovers and is a perfect location for landscape photography. Many halts at safe locations in this 4km stretch would be very worthy if you are a passionate photographer.
Besides this visual treat, the clean breezy air and cool happenings down the valley would definitely calm your mind and soul.
