Best place to bring your kids and they will acquire some knowledge about nature. Cons there is no shops to buy food, better can carry food. Government should take measure to proper maintainance and have to add some water related activities. Here you will buy fresh fish at morning..

Indeed the coolest place in Salem .pay a visit at monsoon season and you will be amazed . Apart from visiting on regular timings have a wall early in the morning to get really amazing shots with clouds hovering above you .

There is park around the lake and boating is also there ,if you wish to go you can .Mookaneri consists of small island like trees surrounded in it .

People are using for nasty work u know WT i mean 😸 i hope they put a sequrity camera and proper maintenance+ they use ticket system so people pay money 🤑

Lake was clean and neat especially in rainy days when the water level is high it looks even more beautiful but the park needs some maintenance. Swings and the pathway there is not so good. But the park is clean and natural. You can feel the nature's essence there. Especially in the evening the whole experience is different. The climate and sunset makes it more pleasant and calming. Definitely visit this place before sunset. Best place to relax and enjoy with nature
