Good initiative by the Government with the help of world bank but the present condition of dam is not better. No caretaker , grass all around, surrounding so bad , overall it needs the government eye to look after..no electricity , polls are there but lack of care all wastage of money ..

Cool ,beautiful place for few hour trip .You must visit this location if you like peace or nature loving person.

Within few days there is grand opening of restaurant i.e, 'THE JUNGLE CLUB' near DAMSAL DAM. At this place you have found such a grand beauty of landscapes and greenery. There was also a natural cave. Opening date of restaurant i.e, 'THE JUNGLE CLUB' we will announce you soon.

The place is quite unknown to the world, one of my colleague gives me the route and suggested me to visit there to have a fantastic sunrise moment. As a photographer, I am keen to search for this type of place. The sound of water, the birds chirping, the morning cold breeze of air, the orange tint at horizon and then the entry of the Sun creates an amazing and never forgettable moment.
I suggest everyone who lives nearby Hoshiarpur district to have a visit to get a view of sunrise from here.

Amazing view, good place to spend some time out of the city

One of best place for family picnic, get-together with friends. But if you are going with kids. You have to be watchful for them that's why I gave 3 stars. If it's group of adults and just want to enjoy peace and fresh air, on foothills of Shivalik mountain range... Then u can explore this place.

Note: Do t leave your kids unattended. Don't try to swim in dam waters.
