Nice Dam ever in our Odisha. It is a woderful place with manmade dam.

One of best place for weekends. Only 40KM from Bhadrak , in Keunjar dist of Odisha . By bike you can reach directly on spot otherwise LMV and Bus to be parked at forest check gate

It has great view and also away from human crowd. There is also a small sanctuary . There is small island in the DAM.

Hadagada Reservoir has been raised on the river Salandi in Anandapur Sub-division of Keonjhar district. The dam encompasses huge water source for the area for irrigation purpose. An splendorous natural environment with high mountains range beautify the reservoir which is eye catching for natural lovers.

Here you can see the place where water meets the forest. Usually less crowded than the other places of the Dam. In the morning you can also get fresh catch from the dam water.

Hadgarh Wildlife Sanctuary wildlife sanctuary situated Keonjhar district in Odisha, India, covering an area of 191 km was established in 1978. The sanctuary lies in the catchment of Salandi river, a major tributary of the river Baitarani. Besides the Salandi river, the other perennial and seasonal streams are Mukta stream, Ghagara stream, Pitanau stream, Andheri stream, Suranga stream, Chakratirtha stream and Bentokholi stream. A large stagnant water body (31.83 km2) of river Salandi, called as Hadagarh reservoir is found inside the Sanctuary and is the important wetlands of this Sanctuary that attracts variety of water birds both migratory and resident. Hadgarh sanctuary is linked to Similipal tiger reserve and Kuladiha wildlife sanctuary.

It is a very nice place. It offers boat for riding. It has very beautiful scene for enjoying. Casually all love couples come here for enjoyment. And there is no fear of any wildlife.
