The fishing art of villagers is different and nice to observe. Best time to visit this village is morning and evening during rainy and winter season. Must visit place. Government should develope this place as a tourist destination.

Derjang Project dam is 12 km away from Angul town.This dam is constructed for reserving water flows from the mountains and two rivers Ningara & Matalia.It is a beautiful view sight and best place for picnic. It attracts crowd in picnic season due to its beautiful scenery which starts from December first week.

One of the best places in angul to visit, most people don't know about this amazing place. I also had no idea about it until I went there while I was posted at angul. This place is breathtaking especially in the evening. The sunset looks so beautiful from the dam. The hills surrounding the reservoir creats amazing scene. Local people come here everyday in the evening with families to spend some good time.
