Padmapadar Jhula bridge, Baliguda.

This hanging bridge is situated near a village named Padmapadar, it's famous as 'Jhula Bridge' locally. A nice initiative by the Government. Even though the road that connects Baliguda to this bridge is not a district road, hence it is of Metalled(pucca) road. So you'll not find much trouble while coming here. The path of the bridge is like causeway type structure where some metal plates have been used. And a striking suspension bridge like structure formed if you watch it from the river coast, so you can also call it as Mini Howrah of Kandhamal district. This is just 10 km far away from the town Baliguda. The nearest village to this place is Padmapadar which is around 1.1 km away from it. In the east of this bridge you'll find Padmapadar and if you go to the West this path will lead you to Baliguda town through some villages like Sipanjiri. And on the other side of the bridge you'll find the village Situpadi and Kutikia. The bridge is present over the river 'Khadga'. Many people come here to have a picnic. Do not forget to bring your own stuffs while coming here as there are not a single shop around the bridge.
