After the valley view point, this falls entry gate comes on the way to Cherapunjee. There is ample parking place for all types of vehicles unlike the valley view point. There are around 275 steps to go down to the falls. There is a big concrete block built for the safety of the tourists. It is better not to venture beyond this point. This place is okay but may be during monsoon season it may be slippery. There is another view just few metres below for which you have to go back and come down. This point of view is better for the entire view of the falls. There is absolutely no regret for having gone down to see the falls. It is a free fall from the point to the valley below unhindered and the view on either side is majestic.

One of the best and biggest fall in Khasi hills in cherapunji. One need to step down through more then 100 stone cut steps to see heavenly view of the valley, hidden under the clouds. The panoramic view will definitely mesmerize you❤❤❤

A wonderful falls in Sohra. The valley is also very charming. During Monsoon falls are full of water, but during winter, summer become dry.

One of the best location in Meghalaya.

Final destination on this trek is the top of the fall, which remind the scene of movie Bahubali.

This trek, although is made up of stairs, is somewhat difficult. Before reaching final destination, there are many spots wherein travellers thinks that this is the final one and tends to come back, however, reaching to the destination, i.e, origin of the fall, the view and experience (chilled, crystal clear water touching your feet and flowing down in a heavy force) is truly amazing.

Must visit place in Meghalaya.

Wonderful waterfall in sohra. There are 2 water falls here. One smaller and other one is bigger. We have to trek around 20 minutes to reach the bigger water falls.

This is one of the best Falls in Shillong trip. There are various falls along the way but I liked this one the best in terms of view and location. It's on the way to Cherrapunji and it's entry fees is Rs 30/- per head which is way economical than elephant falls.
You need to walk down for about 2 kms and hence the road is a bit tricky with the path laid down on rocks. But once you reach there, that is worth it with the beautiful view and the force of the waterfall.
You can even take a bath there and get the feel of the mesmerizing view as given in the pictures attached.

You will be amazed to see such beauty. However you have trek for 20-40mins depending on your trekking pace but it’s worth it trust me. Take your time to reach the view and enjoy the breathtaking view.

There were no entry fee for this falls but four wheeler parking is a tough job since roads are very narrow and no parking facilities are available at the spot so plan accordingly.

This was not on our list but happy we made it here. There are two different waterfalls – one smaller and the other bigger one. The smaller one is about 200+ steps away while the larger one is about 400+ steps away.

The water looks clean and it is cooling when you dip your feet in it. Good place to relax for few minutes and observe the gorgeousness of the valley. Since this waterfall is closeby and accessible to the public, it tends to draw a lot of crowd.

A quick place to drop in and experience and dip your feet in water, while you enjoy the waterfall and valleys.
