Mandavi Beach

This beach is filthy and sand is black . Not good for swimming. But the panoramic view is quite beautiful. This also called gateway of Ratnagiri. Commercialised beach. Long walkway of one kilometre inside the sea. Benches are on both side , one can sit and enjoy cool breeze.
You can see lot of fishing boat moves in batches from nearest jetty for sailing into the high sea . View is pleasing.

An amazing venue to enjoy surreal sunsets on a waterfront just a little bit inside the ocean, where the sun sets in deep down behind a cliff which also has an old lighthouse. This different kind of sunset gives you a vintage touch and takes you away from reality a little bit.
Availability of snack joints/shacks near the beach.

Its located in Ratnagiri.
Its also known as Gateway of Ratnagiri.
There is view point made for people to see beach.
Beach is not that much clean.
Its crowdy during weekends & holidays.
Many eatery stalls & restaurants are there.
Less parking space.

My personal experience is for this beach are mond blowing and this is known an another name ( gateway of Ratnagiri). And this beach are the smoke biscut are available this experience is very good for me

Beautiful place for sunset lovers. Must visit place. One of the cleanest beach i visited and it is also known as black beach. Near this beach there is gateway of ratnagiri, which leads the pathway to sunset point, which is absolutely beautiful. There are benches to sit and variety of food is also available here.

At first I thought this place will turn out to be a disappointment but my! My! This place is another example of the true beauty of Ratnagiri. It is obviously a bit crowded due to its close proximity to the city and also the nearby hotels. This beach is very unique in itself. It has a rocky patch which looks like as if it stays under water for few hrs of the time due to high tide. It also has a very big and touristy jetty from where people witness the beautiful sunset. It has many small games area as well for the kids on the other side of the jetty. Overall a good place to go with friends and family.

Gate way of Ratnagiri... Beautiful place in Ratnagiri. Sunset view is awesome. Clear and clean water and black sand beach ..it's amezing..
