White Sea

Nice Beach and not much crowded. You can find shells everywhere on this white sand. Cold breeze always flows with small sand particles. Must visit.

I was searching for a beach to hang around and my local source told me about this beach. So on an evening I reached there and get clean bold by the beauty of the beach. With rare (at Ratnagiri area) white sand and a dominant scenic view this will top the list of beaches around Ratnagiri.

I really ❤ the view...For photography excellent beach. It is beach for fisherman's. I found No different in sand in other and this beach. Lonely beach because no water sports or other activities can be done

If you are planning to visit, better not. It is a crowd-repellent. Even when we went there at peak season, weekend, there was not a soul in that beach. Only garbage littered everywhere. In-spite of this I can see that many websites try to position this beach as "must see", "beautiful", and so on. This is far away from reality.

This is also called as Murugwada Beach. It is one of the dirtiest beach I have ever come across. It is just 20 mins away from the Ratnagiri bus depot. Here the sun sets behind the mountain not on the sea horizon. This beach is used by only fishermen and one will always find dead fishes lying around on the beach throughout. Please do not go by the name of White sea beach, it is far from reality.. There are much more beautiful beach than this. It is secluded though from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Very beautiful and clean beach though it looked lonely when we visited with not a single soul around. As the name suggests, sand is almost white. The beach is in an arch shape, can be photographed well from both end. Left end has big boulders lined side and hundreds of Sea Gulls around. Be aware with their agressive behaviour and don't venture too close.
When entering from main road to a narrow lane, there seemed to be a small Cricket ground with many teenagers playing and watching. Going further on this narrow lane, therevare rows of temporary houses lined on left side and some large govt building on right. Need to park the car on this road and walk around 50m.
Then the entire beach is yours. No facility around. There was a wrecked ship on extreme right side and several boats out of water on left side.

Nice place. You will get private beach no one around. Just no cleanup
