This place mainly have Chatteris built by ancient king in memory of their loved ones.
Each Chatterie has its unique style.
They shows a very different style of architecture each of them is built in unique way and for unique person.

Orchha Chhatris is located near bank of Betwa River Kanchana Ghat Orchha Madhya Pradesh India. Chhatris is historical landmark in Madhya Pradesh. There are fourteen Chhatris or memorials to the rulers of Orchha. There are the 17 th & 18 th centuries beautiful Cenotaphas of the rulers of Orchha.

Good place to visit, main attraction is boat riding, water sports.

MP govt has done a considerable job to put this on the tourism map. But still a lot can be done to make it famous like other famous historical places.

Many Chhataries of Bundela kings near Betwa bank, garden also, ticket common for all sites of Orchha...1-2 hours visit...

These cenotaphs are called as Chhatris (umbrella) by the locals. They look similar, except the one made for Vir Singh Deo- the most successful Bundela Raja. The size of the Chhatri perhaps was decided basis the length of the reign of those rulers.
