One of the most underrated palaces that exists in India. It's an untouched beauty lying unnoticed in the gullies of a small town. The approach road is narrow and difficult to cross with a four wheeler. Parking space is there but it's a slope so requires some skills to park.

This palace was constructed by Bir Singh Deo for his friend and Mughal emperor, Jahangir. It has 7 floors, with 2 underground and 5 above. An excellent blend of Mughal and Bundelkhandi architecture, this site is decorated with pillars, galleries, chhatries and wall paintings. Because it is visited by very few people, you will get a strange vibe here that will make you fall in love with this monument. It definitely needs more praise and attention. Must visit if you are around Jhansi!!

Datia town also has several other monuments that are worth exploring such as Datia palace, royal chhatries.

It's a seven storey Mahal, situated in Datia. When I went there, not many people were visiting. We had a nice time exploring this Palace. Very beautiful.

This place, the magnificent palace is a fine. Example of amalgamation of rajput amd mughal architecture of our country, it was built by bundela chief and king of orachha veer singh deo in datiya, this palace is also known as nrising dev palacee or old palace, it is build purely in bricks and stone, there is no trace ither of wood or iron is used here, it is square in plan having four octagonal towers, one at each corners and string courses of stone lattice work defining the five stories, it is ornamented by numerous chhatris crowned with ribbed domes while many of its ceilings carved from inside. I agree.

Very Beautiful and One of the best Historical Place to visit. Many Sculptures are present which give evidence about ancient History and Architecture.

Building is beautiful, though most of the parts are not accessible. It's a combination of Mughal and bundela Architecture. Accessibility from main road is bit difficult. Road is narrow and Parking place is inclined almost 45. You must see Fort if you are ever in Datia.

This property is beautiful, though most of the outside edges are not accessible otherwise beautiful views could be seen from the fort of Datia city. All in all must see Fort if you are ever in Datia.
