Chaman Mahal is situated at islamnagar which is approximately 6.5 km away from karond square.easy vehicle facility is available to reach this place.you will be amazed by the scenic beauty of architect & huge gardens.the purity & calmness of this place can't be described by words.
Good place for wedding photoshoots & picnic..
Usual timing is from 8:30 am till 5:00 pm Monday is closed.
Parking facility available.
only 10/- as entry ticket.
But yes no availability of food there,a small counter is there for snacks items & drinking water.
But seriously I plead government to look after this place before our heritage gets vanished.

It’s situated in Islamnagar which is 11 km from Bhopal.
It is built by Dost Mohammad Khan is red stone structure.
This palace has become by and large ruined place having Mughal water garden and hamam.
It’s sad that it is not very well maintained.
The once beautiful gardens which is surrounded the palace is slowly deteriorating.
Every where there is garbage and plastic .
Govt and common people should seriously think of maintaining this once a beautiful place.

Just on the outskirts of Bhopal, situated the beautiful reminder of history which is the Chaman Mahal in Islamnagar. It stands amidst the luxuriant gardens and fountains, the arches of this red sandstone structure is beautifully festooned with floral motifs. Head to this lovely monsoon spot and enjoy greenery on both sides of the road while driving.

Around 300 years old mahal built by afghan commander Mohammad Khan . He was the ruler of Islam nagar and he built this mahal in 1815. It is around 15km from Bhopal and from Raja Bhola Sethu how ever is different from different places. It is easy to find a way and however google maps gives you different way. Try to explore yourself , as there are short routes . It is a Mughal architecture and it is made up of sand stone. It has a small picnic spot where one can or families can have picnic with their own food . Good to visit with family and it takes a day to explore. Remember one thing this comes under Archeological Survey Of India and they charge 10/- per head as an entry ticket and they don’t accept any digital payments. So please carry enough change. The road is not good it may take more than 30-45 minutes in two wheelers!

* Note: Found cherry tomatoes 🍅 side of the mahal opposite to cafeteria and picnic spot. One can pluck and 👩‍🍳!! Just like that!

The place is beautiful but could have been maintained better. Caretakers are not friendly and I wouldn’t call the place clean. But it’s good if you ignore the mess and enjoy the history.
