35kms From Bhopal (New Market)
Pretty Good Weekend Place Love How It Is Conserved Very Nicely A Bit Of Cleanliness Was Missing Although Basic Amenities Were Also Not Present Such as Toilets But A Changing Room Was Atleast There. Regional People Were Quite Less Welcoming Not Recommended If You're Alone Or less in Number... We Were 5 So It's Upto You.. Waterfall Is Not As Big As Its Seems But It's Just Start Of The Season.

Good to visit in the peak monsoon season. There is a Mahadev Temple located first, after which a waterfall starts. Some gumtis are there where you can get chai- pakoda or chips, kurkure etc for kids. The vehicles have to be parked half km before the main spot. The place where the main waterfall is very Rocky so it is risky. Locker is available for keeping mobile and other things. One changing room is there but it is located where the stairs start to go down, so you have to come back upstairs to change clothes. Spot is okay, can spend 3-4 hours. There are some spots on the way too where one can spend time, small stream of water is there, one can sit there with kids but again it is Rocky and slippery so one has to be very careful. There is a toll of 40 rs for car.

Beautiful place with greenery . It has a natural waterfall which is called Mahadev pani with a temple inside the cave form.
One can bath here but The changing rooms present were dirty so one has to change in open surrounded by clothes or in car . The place is must visit in rainy season. This place should be maintained by the authorities. It has good footfall of tourists. The people who give tickets for entry should look after the facility of changing as it gets uncomfortable as well as awkward to change especially for females.

This is a good place in rainy season it seems. We went in October and there is not much water. Very very small water park , however one has to visit at right time i believe. Don't expect much as it dry area. Families can have a picnic to over here. The whole area is dry , no crops , no much vegetation and just rocks. But i wonder where the water comes from.
Ample parking space available.
Parking for 2 wheeler 10/-
Entry tickets 10/- per head and kids for free

A great place for nature lovers , though the road from down is quite terrible, it was hardly for us to take the vehicles from the downside, but yes from up we can go quite easily and the waterfall is just awesome

Highly recommend to visit during rainy season.

Best for expending with family.

A peaceful place away from the city traffic.

Bring your own food and drinks as there is no shops available here.

No problem for parking space, road connectivity is good.

Situated around 30 km away from Bhopal, this is a good picnic spot during monsoon. The main attractions are a beautiful waterfall and several small pools of water to enjoy. There is a small Shiva temple downwards near the waterfall. The entry fee is only Rs. 10. You can enjoy this place with friends and family.Flocked by a number of migratory birds arriving here in different seasons, the area around the Mahadev Paani waterfall is one of the perfect fits for an adventurous trekking. With a natural pool forming at the waterfall, the trek in itself brings you close to the Mahadev himself, the Hindu God Lord Shiva. On the way to the falls, one can find a number of caves on the sides of the trail with a number of idols placed dedicated to Shiva.

Activity:
The 14 km long trek is the highlight of this experience as you walk through the dense jungle, all the while enjoying some of the most beautiful views of the forests and hills around the Mahadev Paani region. The guide on the trek will give you snippets of information about the Flora and Fauna indigenous to the region, making this an extensive learning experience as well. Reaching the falls will not only reward you with a refreshing sight of the waterfall but also with a chance of swimming and dipping in the cool waters of it.

How to Reach:
Located 30 km east of the city of Bhopal, Mahadev Paani waterfall can directly be reached by taking a road transport. From the top of the falls, you then have to trek down the hill to reach the viewpoint and the base of the pool. This package provides you with a road transport from a pickup point in Bhopal and brings you to Mahadev Paani. The Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary near Bhopal is bustling with the beauty of the wilderness and is one of the best places to find tranquility in a place away from the hectic rush of the city life. And in the Ratapani forests lies the majestic beauty of the Mahadev Paani Waterfall.
