Great place to visit with family or friends if you are coming with small kids then should be careful as it's not very easy to climb till the top also not easy to reach here if traveling by car or big vehicles especially for those vehicles which do not have good ground clearance as from the entrance to near the para there is no proper road it's like a forest and it's about 1 to 2kms from the entrance to near the para, also would not recommend this place for those having knee problems or problem with walking. The stairs are big here not like normal stairs since there are railings so it's good also should carry a bottle of water, best time to come here would be early morning or near to evening since it's very hot in the afternoon and other times during summer season not so easy to climb the stairs, also the best time to come here would be around monsoon as the view would be really great from the top, once you reach the top you will feel the efforts taken are worth from climbing this much. There is entrance fee for this place per person and also for the vehicle. The view from the top is really good and peaceful place it's also a really good place to relax, it's very silent and all in this place

It has so many steps to get to the top of Kudukkathupara. I guess its a Good place for noob hikers. But surprisingly, looks like its an evening spot for locals. The way till the bottom is bad road, better to walk or use 2 wheeler. Ticket price is minimal (₹20). Overall its a good trip for health by physical activity and refreshing by the nature's beauty.

We were told by the forest guard that this is the highest single rock in Kerala. One of the not so popular touristic spot in Kerala. Entry fee of ₹40 per head will let one drive on a non-paved road till the point where further travel is climb up on odd 300+ steps. Better keep a bottle of water or two. At the top nice panoramic views and cool breeze awaits you. Good enough for half a day outing. Public transport available

Good destination for a one day trip. Situated in a forest hill which is extremely difficult to ride. The road is rocky with sharp edges. Over 300 steps to climb the top. I think no one can climb it in single walk 😜😜😜.. Definitely you will take two or more rest🙄 to complete the task 😀😀. From the top the scenery is just awesome.. There is a steep rock structure which seems to rise more than 150 feet.. And also the locals said the rack structure is unclimbed till the date.

Really an awesome place to visit with friends or family. Nice trucking effect. Well maintained area. Fully safe and secured place to visit even with children.

Nice atmosphere. Keep water and snacks for the energy boost.
Be prepared to climb height of 10 /12 story building.
Not recommended for children under 2/3 if they hesitate to walk or climb steps

Nice place for a days outing if you are near Anchal. Well guarded with fences so it's safe to take kids also. Around 350 steps to climb.
