A peaceful place to sit in the evening. Not crowded. People can have a hilltop view of kanhangad town from here. Early morning and evening is the best time to visit. Sunset view is the main attraction of this place.We have a anjaneya swami temple also there on the top. Road is going right upto the temple so one can take his vehicle to the hill top. There is no shops nearby

One of the most underrated places I have ever visited. Calm and serene place to spend your evenings..

Manjampothi is a small hilly area perfect for a short walk in the evening and a short outing with the family. It is better to go either in the morning or after four in the evening. Because there will be very strong sunshine during the day. There is also a Hanuman temple on top of this hill. As it is a laterite area and the path is covered with grass, it is better to be careful while walking. Snakes are more likely to be seen. It is also a good place for people who are interested in bird watching. Birds like Blue faced malkoha, crested goshwak, pied bushchat and black kite are always seen on the hills. Similarly, many raptors have been seen here. There are two main routes to reach here. You can reach here from the Kanhangad Panathur state highway from the road near Anandashram or from the Kalyan road.
The view from the top of the hill is very beautiful. You can see the National Highway, Kanhangad Panathur State Highway, Bekal Fort and the sea. On one side you can also see Chemmattamvyal which is the main bird watching hotspot of the district itself. Similarly North Malabar College of Engineering can also be seen sitting here.

A good spot for evening walks. You can enjoy the breeze at top, as well as sunset. Best time after 4PM.
Nice view from top, even Bekal fort is visible. There is a Hanuman temple which is open on full moon days only.
Better carry a water bottle incase you get thirsty. Good road till the top of the hill.

This hill is best suitable for star observation in the night sky. I think we can even see the milky way in the night sky. The full moon can be photographed in a pleasant atmosphere. This hill is also suitable for film shooting. In summer and winter the hill would be in dry coloured condition. During rainy season the hill would be covered in greenery. There are no enough trees in these areas. So it is better to go there in morning or evening.

Very peaceful and serene. It has got a spiritual vibe to it. Legend has it that whilst Lord Hanuman was flying with Sanjeevani mountain a small piece of the mountain fell on the ground. One of the best place to visit. Entrance is free and you can take your vehicle at the top.Make sure to go there either on sunrise or sunset. Night view is very best.

This is a local tourist spot located in the Kasaragod district. Its nearby tourist destination is Anandasramam. We can access there by both cars and bikes. A beautiful view of Kanhangad and Mavungal can be seen from here. This is a family friendly location. Currently there is no entry fees. We can see a beautiful sunset from here in the evening time. Visiting here in rainy time is one of the best experience you can have. We can have a beautiful view of rain coming towards us. This place is also best for Sunrise. By reaching here early morning we can see very beautiful sunrise from here this is a must visit place while visiting Canning at and a very good place for spending time with your friends and family in the evening . This is a plastic and alcohol-free destination.
