Kanjirapuzha Dam

Really nice and cozy place.
Enjoyed the Children's park and musical fountain also.
We went when all 3 shutters were open during Independence Day and it was a treat to the eyes.
Well maintained and lots of place to hang out with family and friends for a picnic or get together.

Really enjoyed our Sunday evening here. So calm and naturally beautiful place. Instead visiting crowded places one should select such places for spending time with family. Beautiful garden and dam surrounded by hills. You will not be disappointed.

The Kanjirapuzha Dam, a masonry earth dam built for providing irrigation to a Cultural Command Area (CCA) of 9,713 hectares (24,000 acres), is located in the Palakkad district in the Indian state of Kerala. The reservoir, which has three islands within it, also has an established commercial fisheries development programme operated by the Fisheries Department.

You get to climb to the top and get a fabulous view of the reservoir......

Peaceful place with a good ambience. The Garden is well maintained. There is a light show during the evening.

Good park and Dam with peaceful atmosphere. Good place for family outing with kids. Entry fee is Rs 30 for adults and Rs 20 for car parking.
