Just 12 km apart Sulthan Bathery lays the spectacular Chethalayam waterfalls. You will get an extraordinary experience here at this falls which seems to be an abode of nature’s magic. A 4 km trek through the woodlands will take you to the falls. You will have to pay a nominal entrance fee.

It's a small waterfall during summer but it's beauty can be enjoyed only after rainy season or before the autmn season. I have visited only once over here where I have spotted deers and elephants. But now a days this place is restricted as most wild animals are also present there and this place is a water reserve for them so human intervention is prevented from this place. You cannot visit this place unless u have a great influence.

A very beautiful place for everyone to visit and have a great and pleasure time. Especially when it comes to natural places in Kerala, the official has kept the place very neat and clean which has always added to the Beauty. Beautiful waterfall inside forest... Tourists are not allowed to visit here. This stretch is famous for a Friendly Wild Elephant called Maniyan... He is so friendly that people and even childrens used to Feed him fruits... He passed away on 7th September 2019, he was around 36 Years old Male Elephant... His last resting place is near to this Waterfall.
