Chenab River View Point

A good place to goto if you are taking a trip to Atal Tunnel. The place is about 6 kilometers once you exit Atal Tunnel on the Lahaul side.
We went there in the winters and the entire lake was frozen. The place can get very crowded with hordes of tourists coming on from Manali.
A good place for a picnic.
The drive from Atal Tunnel to the lake was very scenic with snow-covered mountains on the side of the roads.

Located on Manali Leh highway, it's arrox 4-5km far from north tunnel.
View is very scenic with river, snow hills, greenish surrounding.
Few small cafes are located with frequent distance & you get lots of good option for quick & tasty bites.
Entry in river is banned due to extreme cold water & fast flow.

Amazing water crossings. I love the weather of this place. And the views are mind blowing. The best time you can visit here is in may and june. But in the mid of june, you have to suffer with jams over here. I loved this place.

I visited this place during the end of October and there wasn't much water in the river. But it starts snowing early here, so people touring Manali during early winters can come here to play in the snow(The ride all the way here is worth too)

The water here looks so amazing. Great place to take a break from your journey and have some good looking pictures.

One gets the magnificent views of the Chenab river with the Mountain in the background. Definitely a place for some amazing photography and also for some calm atmosphere and relaxing.
