Also called as the world's highest motorable village with stunning landscapes.
Located at 4587 mtrs above sea level.
Very well connected with beautiful roads ut majorly during season time only and all the credit goes to BRO.
Please keep the place clean and respect the mountains.

A picturesque village near kaza, the headquarters of spiti. This village is known as the highest motorable village of the world.

A beautifully decorated monastery is there which will give you the Tibetan Buddhist culture. The main daity of the monastry is Maitraya, which is believed to be the next Avatar of lord Buddha along with that several murals and paintings of Bajrayana sect of Buddhism is available here. The monastry is a sub center of Kee monastery which is presently under the Gelupha sect of Bajrayana.

You can also have a tea or snacks on the world's highest restaurant nearby and enjoy the enjoy the enchanting beauty of nearby mountains along with absolute silence and peace.

It is small village with beautiful terrain. Top of the peak is almost flat that gives you a awesome view. We visited the place in October first week but I can imagine the beauty of it after snowfall. Village is too beautiful.

Komic is the world’s highest motorable village which is a very remote village that offers a great panoramic view. There are very few people who stay here and they stay in mud houses which is a construction speciality of the area.
The road condition to reach here is good than expected.
The village is so remote that we couldn't find a single shop on route.
There is one small monastery as well.

One of the most famous landmarks of Komic village in Spiti valley is the iconic sign board by the public works department, which describes Komic as the “Highest village in world connected with motorable road”. Komic which literally means “eye of a snow cock” ( Ko – snowcock , mic – eye), is a remote village in Spiti valley. Komic village is situated at an height of 4587 metres or 15027 feet above sea level. Like most of the villages in Spiti valley, most of the residents of Komic practice Budhism. The main reason travelers started visiting Komic was it’s title as the “Highest village in the world connected with a motorable road 🏞
