This Sissu Falls is not really 15-20 min far from Leh interstate. This cascade is well known for its greenery encompassed everywhere throughout the cascade. This cascade is the longest and is 25km far from Gramphu, Manali. It implies an extremely wonderful view when seen from the street while going to Leh to Manali

After heading towards left for almost 6kms from the exit of North Portal of Atal Tunnel, you will find this gorgeous waterfall at your left side.
I went there during the month of August, so naturally the follow of the water is great with greenery all around it.
There’s a small road at the left, which will bring you to the Sissu helipad, from where you can watch the waterfall much closer. There are also small tents with refreshments. Parking here is not an issue as the people park their vehicles on the helipad itself.
You can also do the trek of around 20-25 mins to reach much closer to the waterfall.
I recommend you to visit during mid summer, as the waterfall freeze during winters.
Overall, it is a beautiful location with beautiful views.

Please keep the area clean 🙏🏻

I went to this place in Jul 2022.
The trek is quite steep and tiresome.
And since there is so much water around the waterfall, so you wont be able to reach the nearest of the waterfall.
There you will be offered zip line but better to drive via bridge via 2 wheeler.
Ask someone and you will get to know the way.
Don’t waste your money 500₹ on zip line. Its not worth it.
Would like to remind to wear a good grip shoes here.

This waterfall is otherside of river. to reach this waterfall you have to take a left turn before 200meter sissu tourist point if you are coming through Atal tunnel, then cross the bridge any 2or 4 wheeler can go upto a point through this not so good road. Once you reach at the base you have trek around 1-2km halfway is good but other halfway can be slippery so ne careful. But the view is worth going. and be aure you cary your water as we can't find water or anything to eat there.

We visited this roaring waterfall during the golden autumn season in October. There is a small trek to reach this waterfall with beautiful views of the river and the mountains through small farms. To reach the starting point, you can either take zip-line from the helipad area (INR 400 negotiable) or if you are on a bike, there is a small bridge before the helipad via which you can cross the river. Average time to reach - 30 minutes.

Please make sure to not litter at this place to keep its beauty intact.

Very good and adventurous trek
There is no proper route to the trek you need to climb the mountain which is not hard. Took us around 30-40 min
Beautiful and pleasant view from above

When you visit the sissu lake, you can see this waterfall located on the other side of the river. You can take the zipline to cross the river and then it is a small trek towards the waterfall. There is also a bridge to cross the river, but you have to travel a bit more for that. You can spend hours watching the stunning view of the surroundings. A must visit place near Manali.

One should visit this place in their lifetime. The stunning beauty is eternal. You can't get enough of this place. Best time to visit is from November to March as it is flooded with snow. I have experienced snowfall here. It is truly mesmerizing.
