There are two side from which you can climb up the hill. I would suggest that you go from Thana village side as that has shelter and water facility in between the stairs at short intervals. Also that is the shorter distance.
The best season to go to Dhosi is post monsoon or Winters as in summers the region is too hot.
It is most beautiful in September as there is greenery all around and blue sky with cotton clouds in the sky.
Make sure you have water bottles, caps and shades on to avoid excess heat.
When you reach the top you'll find the very beautiful centre of the extinct volcano where there are temples, ponds and beautiful cows. It's a very beautiful place to visit.
Just for safety, make sure you don't go to the place alone if you're not familiar with the region. Try going with your friends or some guide.
Steap inclination, harsh weather (depends on when you visit), nothing is available once you start the climb so carry what you need including ample water
There is a pond at the top we're you can take a dip
