A HIDEN GEM

The monuments of this 15th CE citadel town were awarded their well deserved recognition among the UNESCO world heritage sites in India. Among some of the aesthetically most pleasing monuments we've seen anywhere in India, these ancient and apparently forgotten gems of the Indo-Islamic architectural style still exude what must have been the robustness of the wealth and the culture of the rulers of yesteryear. Very quite n small place, but i loved. It's a part of Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, which UNESCO designated a World Heritage Site in 2004.
Saat Kaman means seven arches. It was founded by Vanraj Chavda, in the 8th century. He named it after the name of his friend and general Champa.

A wonderful heritage place with great landscape view. A great place for photography as well.

You will get different vibes and views in every other seasons. Place is called Saat Kaman as it has 7 total arc made of stones.

It’s an hour+ drive from Vadodara and the end few KMs is nice hill climb road.

A small site on the road to the temple. Notable for its arches and great views. Nothing else to see there. Can budget 15 min max.

It was not the original...its recreated.
However over all you can feel the essence of our history and great architectural skills.

Monsoon and winter is the time you must visit.

It is heaven for me & lots of Barodins too , its a peaceful place but due to under going construction work its suggested not to go because a onr can not enjoy the place ,the views , the VIBES to the fullest ... & The security guard are big dumb idiots , they really dont have manners how to talk with people. Guys it open at 7 am in the morning .
