Karanjava Trail

Karanjava trail is one of the best place in Mahal.
From mahal camp its located near riverbank.
Walk in trail you find many type of trees and birds also.... Trail is a way of karanjava waterfall.
Visit this place in monsoon if possible or after monsoon.
Take some food with you and enjoy it in forest but not spoil it with garbage.
Take one stick for walking and water bottle too.

This is one of the interesting trails in the Sanctuary which is open for Public Access. One can visit it through the Mahal Eco Tourism Camp Site. It has a waterfall in the middle of the trail supported with a viewpoint from where one can see the Sahyadri hill ranges.

Nature lovers should visit this place

A very beautiful trail in Mahal forest area which leads to Karanjwa waterfall. Trail is approx. 3 to 3.5 km from mahal campsite (one way) and you have to take forest guide compulsory which is available in campsite whose charge is 500rs. Avoid visiting this place in weekends/public holidays as it is very crowded. It is must visit place… especially in monsoon as you enjoy walking in forest, crossing water stream to reach beautiful Karanjwa waterfall.
