(Translated by Google) Jai Chanda was the family goddess of the right Gond king Singha Dhurva kingdom. He is being worshiped at this place since ancient times. There is no idol of him here because nature is worshiped in Gond culture, so here on every Chaitra Navratri, he is worshiped continuously for nine days by lighting a lamp in the cave in the natural environment. There is an ancient practice of sacrificing a female goat (without giving birth to a child) before the Goddess on the last day.
After Navratri, the earthen lamps which are kept burning continuously for nine days, are left there and the cave is handed over to nature again. After this there becomes a camp of snakes, bats and other creatures.

Approx. 6-7 km from Borid village (one with Dhaskud waterfall), Beautiful, calm, peaceful cave. The route is rough, all through forest, bike can go but 7 small rivers and narrow broken path will test your bike to its limits. But the destination is worth the hassle.
It will take 1 hour from Borid to reach the place, then 1 km climb to top of mountain where cave is situated. So it will take 1.5 to 2 hour one way. Ask any villager from Borid to show the way to the cave as it is not possible to go alone as no clear paths are there. All jungle route and fear of beasts too. Pay him 200-300 bucks + buy him beer and he will be happy to show you around.
