Pidhaghat Watch Tower

Ek no jagah hai
Tower is on top position in the mountain range
Perfect for photography
But road to tower is not good and distance marking is not there and can be easily find by asking to the locals don't blindly follow Google maps
Ask some locals people always

Very Beautiful place. the mountains are lush Green and looks like a green blanket is poured over the earth. You have to see it for yourself. It's absolutely stunning and breathtaking. Very beautiful mountain ranges of Maikal Mountain can be seen from here . The watchtower is itself a very unique piece of art . It's surprising how such a magical and wonderful place exists in Chhattisgarh. Planning my next visit Soon !!

As tha name suggests, getting to the place is a pain, but its serene, wonderful, mesmerizing & beautiful...
The place has a great potential to become a better tourist attraction of workeu up on..

The altitude itself says the story. Scenic, serene and panoramic view of Bhoramdev wildlife sanctuary and surrounding forest range. The beautiful Maikal hills is always mesmerizing.

Beside the tall and good watch tower with path way for approach is worth praising, but no place to sit, rest and enjoy the serenity, no rest room and not even a average road of 5 kms from the main tar road. Although forest department have a good two rooms rest house, but completely locked and non operational, even the watchman behaves like a stranger. Government really need to see and development the basic infrastructure otherwise will loose another good highland with no turn up.

Please take extra care of children and senior citizens.
