Bhimbandh is a very natural picnic spot situated in between a forest near a hill. There is various swimming pool filled with natural hot water. Park area to enjoy picnic. Kids play area, tracking, river with hot and cold water. Cottage to stay at night. You can enjoy a full wildlife sanctuary kind of surrounding.

The hot spring was not functional and the place was quite dirty. The park was good although the hot spring was not functional but there were a lot of natural hot spring. Overall it's a good family picnic spot. This tourists spot is functional only in January.

Loved this place. This place is really very very beautiful. On the way to this place you will find that the road splits into two ways if you follow the left one you will reach Bhimbandh where you can find swimming pool, children park,a house where you can stay but for that you need permission from the officials, you will also find pool if boiling water.
And if you follow the right one you will find a river which splits into two, from one part only cold water comes and from the other one very hot water comes, remember taking some clothes there so you can enjoy taking a bath there. You will love this place.

You can feel forest live here. Good place for picnic. It is famous for its hot springs but cold and hot both springs are found here. Soldiers are always there for your security.

The forests cover an area or 681.99 km² on the hills and undulating tract of Kharagpur Hills. It is situated at a distance of 56 km from southern border of Munger, 20 km from Jamui Railway Station and 200 km from Patna Airport.
Bhimbandh is situated south of the Ganges River, at the northern edge of Chota Nagpur Plateau and west of Santhal Pargana. it is surrounded on all sides by densely inhabited non-forestry areas. In the valley portions and at the foothills are several hot springs of which the finest are at Bhimbandh, Sita Kund and Rishi Kund. All the hot springs maintain nearly almost same temperature all year round. Of them, the Bhimbandh springs have the hottest temperature (52 °C to 65 °C) and discharge (0.84-1.12 cum/sec) and constitute the best area for the exploration of geothermal energy potential.
There are number of places of tourist interest near the Sanctuary, including Rishi Kund, Sita Kund, Ha-Ha Punch Kumari, Rameshwar Kund, and Kharagpur Lake.
MY EXPERIENCE WAS JUST OKAY, BECAUSE EXPECTATIONS WERE VERY HIGH AND WHEN VISITED THERE I GOT LITTLE BIT DISAPPOINTED. BUT OVERALL THAT WAS A GREAT PLACE.
