The iconic construction marvel and the longest river passenger ropeway with supporting towers deep inside the mighty Brahmaputra river has completed its one year of operation recently. The construction work on the project was started and taken forward during the time of pandemic, with around 10 engineers and 40+ skilled laborers. The construction work, during the completion of the project, faced a great deal of challenges in transportation of heavy materials (weighing close to 25-40 tonnes) across the turbulent river.

Good experience and fun filled ride for about 30 minutes to and fro. You will have to buy tickets before you enter. You can view the mighty Brahmaputra on the way. Around 15 people can ride simultaneously.

Best experience...please visit before 5 PM because after that time there is no ride available. And that is the last ride time also. Tickets are for one side only and you have to purchase a new ticket if you want to comeback from the other side. All the scenes and things seen are very beautiful and gorgeous. The River and the temples also. There is really nothing like this. Please visit with your family or friends

Wonderful experience ever enjoyed. The Guwahati rope is placed over the Brahmaputra River. The scenes are much beautiful. When I saw, I afraid but no need to afraid it is safe. Every person of every age can enjoy. The ropeway charge for adults Rs 150, for children under 10 years Rs 75 and below 3 years no any changes.

Let me tell you the ticket prices first, for one way Rs.100 and for round trip Rs. 200 and upto 3 years children entry is free(ticket price is same for all the 7 days) I suggest you to take only 1 way ticket just to experience the 10 min. ride and at the time of returning you will get Assam gov. Ferry just at Rs. 3 yes Rs. 3 ( ask locals for any help)

It was a pleasing experience to ride this rope way. The service is good and staff members are quite friendly. I did enjoy my visit to this place. If you are in Guwahati then don't miss this place as this visit might give you grand view of the River Brahamaputra.

We enjoyed so Much.New experience. We can see river island Umananda from Rope way and it's look very nice. It takes 10 minutes to go one side to other side. They took Rs 150 per person for go to North Guwahati and back to place .

It’s decent time pass to ropeway over mighty Brahmaputra. Pods are big and accommodate around 10 people. Only 2-3 people can sit and rest are to stand. It’s fully closed. Views from top are awesome. Ideally if no fog , you can view Kamakhya temple as well.
