Soul Travelling Goa

If you want to know the real Goa don’t miss out on this experience! It didn’t feel like a usual tour as our guide Joshua also shared interesting facts from his own experience being a local. I learned many things and those information can’t be find in any museum! We tried with my husband the Diwar island tour, I definitely recommend it and now I wish to enrolled for the other ones: the secret food trail sounded very interesting!

Are we glad to have left our resort to undertake this walk? Yes, absolutely! My thirteen year old daughter said afterwards just how much she'd enjoyed it - and that's high praise indeed.

Meeting at Monte Hill chapel was a super starting place, and not only for the (literally) point of view, but also for our tour ambassador Asher to give us an overview of Goan and Margao history. The actual walk began down the hill at Holy Spirit church, accompanied by ongoing storytelling with such an ease of manner, that it was no trouble at all to walk the winding lanes. Colourful old houses, ruins of old Portuguese buildings, an abandoned haunted school for girls...so many anecdotes. Added bonus was a tour of the private Miranda House and meeting the eccentric owner. One final surprise - two hymns (Ave Maria and Salve Regina) sung in Latin by Francis - what a voice! A mellow end to the evening at the Holy Spirit church as it prepared for Easter.

Highly recommended for those staying in South Goa - or even further afield.

Goa beyond beaches and parties.. I've visited Goa so many times but never have I witnessed this side of it - a big thanks to Team Soul Travelling who curate these historical and local trails! You just feel at home - Bob and Adolfina were the best hosts we could ask for 😀 My girl gang opted the Latin quarter walk (Fontainhas) and it was so surreal to know about every nook & corner and the stories associated with them if we had not taken the trail we would have just visited Fontainhas and took pictures and walked away without knowing so many facts which Bob very patiently and sweetly explained to us oh and he also helped us plan the next place that we were planning to visit :) Made new friends as well. I for sure will be taking the other trails with them soon while in Goa next! 🤩 I've fallen in love with Goa even more after this experience ❤️

Morning well spent!

This has been the best trail I have had so far. The itinerary was not only well-planned but also well-executed.

The travel ambassadors Pratik Joshi and Bob Abreo were excellent at hosting us and were very attentive to our needs throughout the trip. The detailed information; weaved with their impeccable story-telling skills elevated the experience.

Kudos to the whole team of Soul Travelling for their innovative thinking and for translating it into memorable experiences.

The Old Goa Christian Art Trail, which lasts three hours, brings you to several well-known churches in Old Goa, but the emphasis is on the artwork featured on their interior walls. Visit the Divar tour, too; it's worth it!  I traveled with Adolfina, Bob, and Nandini, who were knowledgeable and shared many fascinating tales that other tour guides would not have told. Opted for this latin quarter walking trail, South Goa, Panjim via soul travelling. One of the best we have been on. Adolfina was our tour guide and she shared so many interesting facts and made the tour worth remembering. She even made such a sweet gesture by celebrating my wife's birthday ☺️ with a cake 🍰 such experiences make the tour special. Special mention to Adolfina, we were very pleased to meet her and know her. Cheers!
