Nagina Wadi

If you are visiting Ahmedabad the Kankaria lake should be on your list. This is one of the most beautiful lakes in Gujarat. It is very nicely constructed and maintained. Equipped with state of the art mini trains and a lot of amusement park activities, you can relish on good food as well. Nagina wadi is in the centre of the lake and gives a beautiful view of the entire lake. Nagina wadi also hosts Water Fountain show which was one of the first fountain shows in Ahmedabad back then in late 1990's. The show is of 30 mins and costs just 20 bucks. All in all a must place to visit and hang out with family.

The ticket to the Kankaria lake entry is nominal, however, everything within the lake has a seperate entry ticket. There is a train that takes people around the park, but that has a seperate ticket as well. It's okay for an evening stroll. There is a speed boat service, mini zoo, and a small amusement park with a few rides ro keep the kids entertained.

Nagina Wadi is a garden themed entertainment grounds in the center of the circular Kankaria Lake. Nagina Wadi is accessed by a straight, concrete, tree-lined walkway traversing half of the lake. In early 2009, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) built and completed a large lighted musical fountain, featuring brilliant multicolored laser lights for night time. Naginawadi also offers Speed Boat, Jet SKI and Other Lot many Water Sports attractions.

Nagina Wadi is a beautiful themed garden and entertainment park which is located right in the heart of the Kankaria Lake. A beautiful tree-lined walkway is used to get to Nagina Wadi. This entertainment park and garden is the perfect place for a family or friends outing in the evenings.

There are several activities that you can enjoy here such as jet skis, speed boat rides and other water sports, musical fountains and laser light shows. While you enjoy these activities you can also munch on some tasty Gujarati snacks.

The place is really awesome.. if you guys are a couple and want to spend some time together.. you can go for a second show .. which might be at 7.30pm.. so that you can spend some time with your loved ones and can enjoy a beautiful view of kankariya lake from between the lake.

A very Great place to enjoy with friends and family. Kids would love this place there are many amazing things for kids. Lots of variety of food stall persent here. The Toy Train and Amusement Park is closed for now. Boating can by done here . Air Ball ride on water is also available here. There is Bird zoo , Nautical Garden and Butterfly Garden all of them have different entery fees from 10/- to 20 /- . the main Lake has enterance fee of 10/- . There two enterance Gate from northwest direction where parking is available with nominal price. Other Gate entery is from South East side where there is Autostand. There private parking here 2 wheeler- 50/- and 4wheeler - 100/- very costly. There is Horror House inside the park 70/- entery fees dont go absolutely waste.
