The rooms were clean, the property was very well maintained. The home cooked food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Amazing hospitality. We had a tea tasting session and Sandeep explained the history and how the different kinds of tea were made..etc. Which was very interesting.. he also took us for a walk to Toda village through the shola forests .. overall an amazing stay

Sandeep, who owns this tea estate and who is a lovely host gave us an amazing tour. He not only educated in tea agriculture, but also gave us details of how a tea is produce. The tour ended with some exquisite hand crafted tea tasting. The hand crafted authentic tea tasting was an experience in itself. He also hosts an homestay in middle if that tea estate. One has to pre book the tour with online reservation. You can also purchase those hand crafted teas. A must recommend attraction when in Coonoor.

Sandeep did a great job explaining how tea is harvested and what gives tea it’s flavour and body. Great learning experience on the whole business of tea. Wonderful location - beautiful setting. I would highly recommend.

We stayed at clubhouse by Tranquilitea, it is located close to the market, Rajan cooks excellent food ( he buys groceries basis your menu) and his wife manages the housekeeping. The host of the property Sandeep curated some amazing local and offbeat experiences for us such as the tea tasting ( rated among the top 7 tea tastings in the world), walk to Toda village etc and he went out of his way to ensure we had the most memorable stay in Coonoor. This is one trip that will stay with us always.

What shall I say? I entered Sandeep’s house thinking of knowing a bit ‘bout tea. I exited realising I had never tasted (consciously) a proper tea before. Tranquilltea’s degustation is one of a kind, and its attentive owner will make sure you understand, learn and mostly enjoy the process. Definitely an highlight in my trip to India!

Enjoyed a fantastic tea tour to sample the tea from the plantation. Understanding where tea comes from, the different types of tea all add to a journey into the tea plantation. We didn't stay at the property but it looks like a small piece of solitude!

A memorable, cosy afternoon tea, tea tasting and estate visit at Coonoor. This is an experience that the entire family can enjoy and very unique. Sandeep is a great host and passionate tea connoisseur. He pays attention to details and has curated this experience really well. Highly recommend this off beat experience to tea lovers.

I could have given it 5 star even of I would have taken appointment prior. Unfortunately I could not taste tea neither got a chance to visit inside cafe.. still the hosts are that cooperative and the help us to explore tea garden.. its really very cozy and cute place..!!
