Chennai Central Prepaid Taxi

So very pathetic!! NEVER opt for a prepaid taxi at Chennai Central Railway Station as its all looting which is happening there.On Ola it showed 200 for my route whereas they charged 500 for this stupid taxi. As left with no choice, had to pay and go.Kindly don't get any prepaid service at the station.Pls GO WITH OLA/UBER.

Be careful. This Booth is not customer friendly and running with sole objective to fleece the travelers. They will quote atleast 3 times of reasonable fare and dupe unsuspecting travelers. Infact, please avoid taxis and autos waiting outside the station exit gates. It is better to take service of OLA/UBER or avail very convenient modes of public transport available at the station i.e.Bus and Chennai Metro

Went to prepais taxi counter for auto by oversight. Staff guided to auto counter.
Good service. 5₹ service charge fair.
Got same rate as Uber. Driver was polite. Showed him the receipt n told him exact location. Took me to the exact spot without any further instructions.
Not argued but understood he was expecting a tip which happily gave.
Excellent service.
Treat auto drivers with respect they are the best helpers on ground.

worst experience ever, I had booked a cab from "Chennai Central" to "Velachery" the cab driver charged 950 + 300 rupees (For night fare) while after the drop location he was charged 1500 rupees, requested me as i was his first ride. Why these people looting so much money? while i searched the fare for the same price in "OLA" it shows between 650 to 700 rupees. Kindly please take action against this. Cab details "TN 22DA 3811"

Today i got down from Brindavan express and came to the pre-paid auto counter at 9.30 pm and there was no staff there. It seems that autos are not willing and are looking to fleece unwary passengers. Very poor. Something should be done to get it functioning.Rs.500 was demanded for 10 kms and finally got someone for 300

They asked double the amount of the tarrif mentioned in the slip. None of the auto drivers were ready to take up the service. There was a small boy issuing the bill and he was doing the job of printing. No proper order or tracking. No police or controller. Waste of time and money. So we took metro service at the end.

Went for hiring an auto.
Said only taxi was available.
Meantime taxiwalas and autowalas started canvasing.
Very sorry state of affairs when compared to the foreign countries
Needs to be regulated.

Worst experience ever in a pre-paid taxi. Driver asked for extra money and said if I don't give extra then he will off load me in between the empty road at 10:00pm at night.

Being a girl facing all this issue in this places I am very disappointed this is not the service I expected after paying so much amount as rather than taking ola and uber I choose pre-paid taxi thinking it will be safe but its such a disappointment.

Even the staff took the complain very lightly against the driver for screaming at me and being rude. He wasted more than half hour sitting in the cab and taking with the staff and then shouted me very literately.

Never gonna use your service in the future.
