Udaipur Taxi Cab

We were on a 4 day Family Trip to Rajasthan (Jaipur, Udaipur). Mr. Bablu of Udaipur Taxi Cab Service was our Friend and guide during the entire journey. It was a memorable trip. Got excellent support from Bablu throughout. Very polite and mild mannered person. The condition of the Car was also excellent.

Had an amazing day tour with Bablu from Udaipur taxi cab service. We had taken a city tour. and trip to Rankpur from the Tour operator.
The car was very comfortable and the driver was very polite and knowledgeable.
Smallest request from our end was catered to by Bablu.

We booked a 6 hour taxi from our hotel. The taxi arrived on time and was well maintained. The drivers’ name was “Rashid”. We asked him to take us to the Rajasthan State emporium in Udaipur. At that moment, he started promoting some different shops to us. Then, we were taken to a private company by the same name as the govt shop. We instantly recognized that we were brought to the wrong place - having been driven by the original shop a day before. But he was adamant. We refused to go inside. He then claimed the original shop had closed and moved there - it has but not the the private seller he brought us too. We called our hotel and got the correct location - drove there and shopped. During the drive,he again started pushing us towards other shops and establishments. We also elected for our shopping be dropped to our hotel since we were not comfortable with the driver now. We had booked the evening show at bagore ki haveli and drove there. While we were at the show the driver went back to the state emporium and demanded commission on stuff we had bought - something he had nothing to do with. We drove back to the hotel and the entire time we had directions from our phone on as well - fearing our safety. All in all a really bad experience- I am not sure if the driver sent to us was actually employed by this company or just somebody sent for the job- though he claimed he was the owners’ son.

Driver - Devendra was excellent in his behaviour and maintained his car well. We booked for 4 days. We had good time in Udaipur.

We had a great experience with Udaipur Taxi Cab Service . The driver was very friendly and helpful. We also booked a drop to the airport next day. Everything was perfect.

Great Service! Very reliable, flexible and on time. We had Guddu Bhai as our driver he was very nice and also a great driver always on time aswell. The car we had rented was a crysta and the car looked up kept and new from the interior and exterior. Highly recommend this service.

Although drivers are courteous and well behaved, i did find scammy behaviour from them as listed below.

I had booked their services via another travel portal and found the taxi services to be poor.

Generally speaking these drivers slyly take you to commission based shop's. They even skip existing itinerary stops and lie so they can take you to such places just to get their own commission.
They will also conveniently CANCEL sightseeing places just so that they can get extra money from you for rescheduling next day!

They are also rude and compare Indian tourists with foreign tourists, they say that foreigners are more punctual (is 10-15 min delay a crime when you already paid for it?!)

They also cunningly force you to take auto services that cost a bomb, imagine paying 100 rs for a 800 m ride! And that too when the car can go to the hotel or when the hotel at least provides free check in check-out auto services!

Don't take their services.
If you do, never go to the places they recommend ever! That's a commission trap.
Never ask for drivers recommendations ever.
Do your own research.

Never trust when they say a place (tourist spot, resturant, shop) is bad or closed. They are lying and want you to change your plan to suit their own pockets!!

Also ask them for quietness and to never suggest paid or commission services or any comparison ever.

They are here to serve your needs, not be your friends or sales agents.

To the management of this cab services - Firoz, pls take action and get right drivers and services in order. Asap.

Excellent service . Sanitised car and driver all time uses mask . Impressed with the service . Specially got good service from friendly and polite driver Mr. Mukesh. We used this for 3 days at Udaipur and some out station sightseeing points .
