It's an old & famous market of the Shibpur, Howrah. Apart from Fish, vegetables, meat etc, there are many other shops within the market as well as school, bank, public library and a temples are also situated within the market. Consequences of these are huge gathering, which is further complicated by not so wide road. Unrestricted traffick resulted in further difficulty in movement, particularly when a four wheelers entered the market. Jagannath Temple at the middle of the market is must watch.
