Spencer's Neighborhood Store

For Westerners: solid place to pick up more familiar goods. Includes things look oatmeal, cereal, cheese, basic hygiene products, and frozen foods like chicken nuggets and fries. A nice little respite when Delhi Belly has your stomach churning at the thought of heavily spiced local fare.

Local departmental store in my neighborhood that is always stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. We often visit to shop for groceries. The best part is they always run offers which tempts people to buy stuff daily.

Started as a decent place. But recently, they have started these extremely dishonest promotional schemes. Last month, they had a scheme called onions at @12/kg (*super fine print: Rs 25 cashback to wallet), Actual billing was actually 37/kg, with 25 rupees cashback to "Spencer Wallet", which could be redeemed by doing shopping of 100times worth of goods "next month" (to redeem 25 cashback, do shopping of 2500). This month they have supposedly scrapped the wallet scheme and deleted all the cashbacks which were added there last month. So that supposed 1% discount sold as cashback has been taken away and incidently they advertised the price considering free cashback. Extremely dishonest chaps.

Bad behaviour staff members present over there. A large number of products are damaged or experienced. Staff members are always gossiping with each other.
Bill person always has bad behaviour with customers. The staff has no idea about the product expression date, data and validation.
Discounts and offers are never provided to customers. The staffing process the discount and offer themselves. More worst behaviour with the customer is present over there. So do go and shop over there.
Worst place in the shop - spencers - present in the sector - 29.

Centrally located at sector 29 FARIDABAD. Lots of bank Atms nearby. ICICI, HDFC , Axis atms are nearby this store. Staffs have to be more sensitized towards customer handling. FRUITS AND VEGETABLES, all types of grocery, milk products, confectionary items are available. Frozen food, Veg and Non veg is also available. All types of payments are accepted in this store.
