BEVCO Self Help Premium Counter

Hated this outlet. How do they expect to carry bottles in premium counter if there are no carts? They didn't allow me to take bag inside either. I had to carry beer bottles in my hand and come out all while trying to balance them from falling. It is high time the govt do something about these outlets.

Has got some great selection.
Way better than regular Beverage outlets.
Better service too.
Has got some great foreign brands in single malt including Laphroaig and bowmore.

They do have premium brands but some of the staffs are arrogant. I have to say this, the ladies in the bill counter don't know how to behave. It's a government authorised outlet not their father's property. The customers don't expect a cordial welcome or smile at them all the time. May be they don't like people who drink alcohol but they also thinks it's a divine job to sell it. They are doing this for money, so keep everything simple as that!

Ground floor and 1st floor, only get 500ml and jawan in 1st , ground contains premium brands.

Good collection of premium brands of all categories. Self sevice and both card and cash, need to allow carry bag or something....

Found it easily, down a side road. (Behind the frontside building. Beers, wine etc available. I paid 480rupees for 3 Kingfisher beer bottles. ( they charged me the MRP- maximum retail price, don’t worry that’s the recommended price) MRP should be written on the item you buy

Much better selection as compared to Consumerfed at Poothole. There are a lot of foreign and we'll recognised names available. I haven't seen any Suntory brands in Thrissur prior to visiting here. My go to place for the weekends..

A first time visit, finding it from Google maps was not very difficult. Thought the selection was better that on the Poothole road which was the outlet that I had used previously. They need to stock more of premium and imported brands if they wish to reach the level of outlets in Ernakulam.
