Lack of sign board for navigation. Lot of space for parking, easy to reach location. Good atmosphere, eco friendly office.

A busy place which actually intended to help the public but the attitude and behaviour of employees were not so good. Not a general statement with my experience. There will be frequent strike even inside the building which make things delay and you have to wait for so long to get your things done.

This is a very old building housing various government departments. Go with anyone or hired transport as parking is usually not possible. The building is in need of renovation from the foundation to the top of its roof. Visiting the civil station is thrilling like visiting a mystery building with various government offices hidden from plain sight even with their headings on display. Unlike an abandoned ghost ship, the venue is crowded and buzzing with activity. Tea and snacks flourish here with the generosity of the patrons inside and the need from the visitors from outside. Curiously, the civil station has an open gymnasium (see pic here below). It is usual to witness people do right hand exercise and vocal cord stamina building by way of protest. The protest and sit-ins are the regular menu items and highlights of the venue. The protests are very innovative and the speakers display a kind of intellect that rivals the best brains of similar standards in the country. These speeches can range from topics as diverse as the racism suffered by Nelson Mandela, the deforestation of the Amazon under Jair Bolsonaro or Elon Musk's intention to build colonies on Mars and at times the local, mundane aspects that hit the pockets of every household such as the common monthly upward revision of cooking gas prices as well. Maybe that's why the government decided that people need exercise not just for the right hand and vocal cords, but for other parts of the body as well and commissioned an open gym there.

I went there many times. First to meet collector bro or N Prasanth who was a peoples collector liked to see the issues passionately. I went there to raise a waste recycling plant issue and he solved issue very friendly. Later I went there to receive a certificate for best short film creation to my son Abdul Azeez from state port minister Ahmed Deverkovil. You can see a diffently abled run Teasdale at entrance.
