Galleries need better covers and improvement in seats, field needs to be taken more care of, otherwise the place runs on solar energy and backup generator so pretty good place. It also has indoor cricket practice place. Overall a landmark of the city.

Utilised for elections in West Bengal, for helicopters landing pads. Must have been in utility during other days by the locals. The office is nicely done up. Large space for practically all sports and games events at the State level.
