Augustyamuni Cricket Stadium

Agastyamuni is famous for the temple of Maharshi priya ranjan and by the name of religious guru Agastya it is called Agastyamuni. This small town falls under hilly district Rudraprayag of Uttarakhandstate of India. It is situated on the river bank of Mandakini and is 18 km from Rudraprayag. There is an open ground where a helicopter and chopper facility is available for the famous Hindu religious place Kedarnath. Being a hilly place there are many facilities available at Agastymuni for tourists and pilgrims.Situated 18 KMs from Rudraprayag, Augustmunior Agastyamuni  is a village set in the hills which is famous for temple of Rishi Agastya. It is believed that Sage Agastya used to worship at the spot where temple is located. Wall of the temples has carvings of many Hindu deities. Augustmuni is situated on the bank of River Mandakini.

There is a helipad here, used by pilgrims going to Kedarnath temple. Augustmuni has basic accommodation facilities for trekkers and pilgrims.

Best place rudraprayag dist. I spend my whole childhood here

now a days ie., from 22 oct 2018 to 25 oct 2018 SGFI school games are goin on and players are going here and there to search drinking water...and responsible people are saying to use hand pump water...moreover toilets are very dirty....

Very good but it need some improvement in cleanliness. And also laveling of field is not good.

One of biggest playground of area.various sports activity occurs here.there is sports college also.in every evening it is a leisure place.

Very big ground. Used for all the activities. Must be devide into different section .

It also has indoor badminton court and Table tennis.

Actually it is not a proper stadium. Although it is larger but it is not levelled as well .
You can walk here but could not enter with your vehicle. You can say it is just a ground not a stadium. It organises cricket and other sports competition often .
