Amidst the towering buildings around in the heart of Colaba, lies this lush green State of the art multiplex ground. There is a football ground and as well as hockey ground inside the Cooperage stadium and both have got a lush green artificial turf. Amazing ground with picturesque views around with good seating capacity.

The ground is open to all. Stands are placed on either side of the field. Great experience to watch live football.

Cooperage football ground in Mumbai, is one of the oldest football ground and has history attached to it. Rovers cup was held there with the countries top flight teams coming and participating on this football ground. It also attracts fans from. All over the city with the stadiums fully occupied. Teams like Mohan Bagan, East Bengal and Mohamadan sporting. From Kolkatta and Dempo, Salgaonkar, churchill brothers from Goa and HAL from Bangalore etc playing on this ground. Our time it was an Aspiration to play on this football pitch.

The ground is big - a blessing in a city like Bombay. Its a great experience for the kids to play here. The stadium is also decently big. There is a good parking facility in the stadium.
However, the original natural ground is now replaced with turf which hurts the players.
The audience seats and washrooms are badly maintained.
There is no canteen / cafeteria or an eating facility.
Scope for improvement, but a big nice place to play in a congested city like Bombay.
