Absolutely an iconic place where india won world cup 2011 and if you want to enjoy match from perfect place it’s absolutely worth it to pay for a seat in GARWARE stand and if you want to see players bus so closely then enter from gate 2.

An iconic place ! It's every Indian Cricket lover's dream to watch a live match at this stadium.

Got a chance to watch an IPL Match MI vs LSG recently and what an experience it watch ! The Grand Stand seats are absolutely an amazing place to watch the match from. You get a perfect TV angle to see the match.

Food items, beverages/water bottles, power banks, sanitizer bottles, cameras, etc. are not allowed inside the stadium. You can carry wallets, mobiles, earphones, etc.

Food n beverages in the stand are bit costly. However, if you can come down to the stand entry, there are free water dispensers.

Overall, it was a great experience and would love to see an international match here soon.

Brilliant atmosphere!
Drinks & snacks abundant & reasonably priced.
Seats quite packed in - don't want to be XL or next to someone large!
Exits heaving & slow to move - most leaving by gate 4. Hope there is never an emergency when the ground has to be cleared quickly.

Such an exhilarating experience! Chanting, applauding, hooting with the crowd brimming with strangers who stan the same team as you do is such an out of world ecstasy. The cons to the stadium 1.The steep steps. I almost felt like I'm gonna fall off any second and you have to be really vigilant of the steps you take. W. 2.The ladies toilets have no lights which is so disappointing. We pay high prices and the least they can do is utilize that money into maintaining sanitation and electrical facilities.4. The food and beverage prices are sky high. A cup of water for 30!? Plus you can't carry the bottle inside either.
3.The staff, arrogant to their core will give you condescending responses and act annoyed. It's your job, own it and treat your customers well. Apart from these hassles, watching the match was a whole adrenaline inducing experience. The music, dj and the surroundings make you forget about all your problems and just enjoy the moment. Absolutely splendid.

Overall experience: 5/5

Accessibility: 5/5
One of the most significant aspects of Wankhede stadium is its accessibility. You can reach the stadium via public transportation modes like local trains and cabs. Gate no.4, the entry for the Sachin Tendulkar Stand, is located just outside the Marine Lines local train station, making it the most convenient.

Stands: 5/5
Almost one-third of the seats are in the Sachin Tendulkar stand. This is one of the most exciting places to be if you want to experience the energy and enthusiasm of the cricket fans fully. As I have been here, I can vouch for the quality of the experience here.
Avoid the Divecha stand and some front rows of the Vengsarkar stand if you are going for a daytime match as you would be in direct sunlight, and it can be an uncomfortable experience for you.

Seats: 3/5
The seats are just fine in comfort and are well-maintained and tidy.
The only con is that it might get uncomfortable for you and the people sitting next to you if you are a chubby person as the seats are close together.
The spacing between two rows is quite a lot, which means that even if a six-foot person in the next row stands up, your view will not be blocked.

Visibility: 5/5
No matter where you book your tickets, you can clearly see the players, the bat, and the ball.
This is worth mentioning because I thought the experience might not be great if you purchase a low-cost ticket and sit in L3 or at the end seats. The videos and photographs online do not do justice to the actual experience.

Pricing: 4/5
The ticket pricing varies based on the demand, placement of the seats, and other facilities.
It is up to you how much you want to spend. On weekdays, you will come across tickets starting at Rs.800 for IPL matches. Weekends will always be slightly more expensive than weekdays and would start around Rs.1200.

Food and drinks: 4/5
Any outside food and drinks are an absolute no-no at the stadium.
You get free water in the stadium in small paper cups. You can carry them onto the seating area. But the chances of you spilling that and making a mess are pretty high.
The food and drinks sold at the match area are reasonably priced. You get around 200ml cool drink for Rs.50, cold coffee for Rs.100, popcorn for Rs.100, etc. While they cannot be called "affordable", they are way cheaper than what you find in cinemas and other entertainment facilities in Mumbai. They are also decent quality.

Washroom Cleanliness: 2/5
The washrooms were neat and clean before the commencement of the match. But it gets dirty over a period as hundreds of people use it. There is no one to clean and it and can be a terrible situation for you if you are in the stadium for a long-form cricket match.

Iconic Stadium. Visited to watch CSK VS MI. What an atmosphere you witness is memorable. Got a ticket in Dilip Vengsarkar Stand. View is outstanding from each n every corner of stadium. Easy to reach. Tight security. You can get tshirt and other item outside the stadium. Entered from Gate no 4. Walk of 800 meters to enter the stadium.

Well guided by security and volunteers to your seat. Due to security protocol, just carry ur wallet, mobile or earphone. Rest very thing is not allowed. Even i had to throw my chewing gums and chocolates.

Small eatable likes samosa, sandwich, burger can be purchased but are costly like 2 samosa at 80rs, burger at 100.

Drinking water can be purchased. Even cold drinks and cold coffee is sold.

Seat is comparatively smaller than usual. Not comfortable for XL people and too close.

Washroom are available and well managed.

Went to watch CSK vs GT on 15th May 2022. As a first timer i was pretty excited to watch the match in stadium. Even though I enjoyed the match and atmosphere was absolute charged and pumped there many things that put a pretty bad experience for me. Firstly Don't go for the day match its so hot and humid you will be drenched in sweat like me. I would prefer evening match. There absolutely no ventilation and fans in the stadium totally dependent on natural air. Best place to watch the match would be Sachin Tendulkar Stand and Gaware Stand. Choose Tier 1 or 2 the view is much better and close. Tier three is too high. No water bottle allowed in the name of plastic ban but the Foods stalls vendor bring plastic water bottles of 10/- inside the stadium then fill in paper glass and sells for 30/- What a scam it is. No public drinking water available in so called international stadium. Toilet are ok. Food stalls are too damn expensive. I would recommend you to take some food inside by hiding in clothes rather be looted by this monopoly vendors of the stadium. MCA should look after this looting of public.

Wankhede Stadium Mumbai Maharashtra: Wankhede stadium is good and too big. I hope that each and every match with Indian team will play here (In upcoming Worldcup). Management was good but chairs were not so comfortable. Parking was managed properly. It was a nice experience to be present at stadium to IPL match. I think It's a dream ground for every Indian cricket lover.
