It's only open for employee who are working in IOCL. Area is sufficient to play cricket and and it's perimeter is approx 550 meter. And it's track is also good

Here's a brief into about IOCL
BARAUNI Refinery was built in collaboration with Russia and Romania. Situated 125 kilometeres from Patna, it was built with an initial cost of Rs 49.40 crore. Barauni Refinery was commissioned in 1964 with a refining capacity of 1 Million Metric Tonnes per Annum (MMTPA) and it was dedicated to the Nation by the then Union Minister for Petroleum, Prof. Humayun Kabir in January 1965.
Haven't been there much and it's found usually empty.sometimes some events take place. Overall a good stadium but I have usually found it locked. It would be better if it was an open for all stadium.
Good place to chill with friends, watch cricket and football matches rather than loitering around in Township.,

Ground is pretty good but the management doesn't repair the nets for cricket. Floodlights are available here.
