Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Cricket Stadium and nicknamed Assam Cricket Association Stadium or Barsapara Cricket Stadium, is a cricket stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati, Assam, India.[1] The entire stadium project's cost over Rs 2300 crore . It was inaugurated by Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal on 10 October 2017. The Cricket Stadium is India's 49th international cricket venue.[2] First International cricket match played here was between India and Australia T20I. It is a new stadium which hosts domestic and international cricket matches.
In 2010, Assam Cricket Association changed the stadium's name in respects to the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.[4] It is the largest sports stadium in Northeast India.

Liked the overall experience of IND vs SA match played on Oct 2, 2022.

Interestingly, Snake🐍 on the field stopped the play😂. And then, floodlight went off for 20 mins.

Clogged Toilets!! No maintenance. And it was so humid, 1 Litre Water Bottle was being sold in the stadium for Rs 70-100.

ACA need to improve to host international matches.

No doubt its a big and a beautiful stadium that host international matches. But, the stadium lacks hygiene and other electrical things don't work properly sometimes. The bathroom is very dirty and the back side of the stadium really needs good cleaning. It lacks sanitation. I suggest you to clean it properly and maintain it much nicely and I bet it will become more beautiful then.

Awesome cricket stadium in Assam .Located in Barsapara 1.5 Km away from NH 37 .

Best Cricket Stadium in Assam. Enjoyed India vs South Africa match here , the pitch and outfield is of great class and looks very beautiful. We will love to see a few IPL matches here. Always Looking Forward

A beautiful made cricket stadium! Has all the facilities and amenities! The entrances are well thought of! Has good toilet options! Seats are comfortable and the Pavilion is amazing as well! This is an international cricket stadium located at the heart of the city! Connectivity is not bad! It is located in a area which is accessible from the 6 land NATIONAL HIGHWAY and also from within the city! A stadium like this needs a proper multiple story building for PARKING of personal vehicles which is missing! The parking situation is not great and also the place has a massive traffic issue as it is not well thought of at the time of construction! A stadium like this needs bigger roads! If not roads MASS TRANSIT options like METRO or Any other direct mode of transportation to minimise the use of the personal vehicles!
Overall the stadium is good!
