Indian thali was awesome every dish has its unique taste...

Food was good. Quantity was sufficient. This place has been famous since long. My close friend who visited along with me visited the place almost after twenty years and found the place interiors have changed but food as expected was tasty but since lot of people in line to eat there so the waiters were seen little impatient but still they were serving really fast and did not have to wait. Must visit.

Very bad experience. The original is gone. कढ़ी rice plate of Rs. 184 insufficient for even 1 person. Rice were of poor quality n insufficient. see for yourself. Tahli that normally cost 150 is of 350 there. I recommend canteens of आश्रम near by।

The food was not good in taste at all.
We ordered special thali bt the taste ws nt good and the amount of salt was not adequate.
Not recommended to visit.

The most exceptional thing about Chotiwala is its history, nostalgic recollections and the Chotiwala fat guy sitting upfront. Rest is par for course. Food was good but not great. Service was good not great.
Go there once even if for the sake of visiting a famous restaurant. You won't be disappointed if you don't build your expectations too high.
ps. We went to a couple of their branches. There was a big difference in preparation so be mindful of that.

worst food experience. tooo much oil in Dosa.... don't go there... Really bad taste of dosa ever.
