Reaching there:
Sterling road is one the busiest roads in Chennai, and a restaurant like this will not go unnoticed. This is a one way and you might want to slow down your vehicle in the beginning of the road. Very close to Loyola college and easy to find on google maps.

Ambience:
As soon as I entered all I noticed was the interiors. They have good wood work done. The restaurant is spacious and has two floors, the ground and the first. The tables are well apart from each other, so won't feel that the place is cluttered. The AC is really good which is important in a city like chennai and when you are going to be eating spicy food.

Service:
The people at the restaurant are friendly and ask for suggestions as to what can be improved. With a really long menu like theirs, they help out people chose their dishes according to the liking, taste and spice level

Food:
Best South Indian dishes filled with flavours. The restaurant sources their meat and seafood from vendors to make sure the meat the customers eat is healthy. You will also not find seafood priced as low as theirs anywhere in the city. Forget fish, but the minute you think of prawns of crab, it would be priced anywhere between Rs 300 to Rs 600.
What I loved about the restaurant was they said "We won't feed the customers what we wouldn't feed our family". Every single item on their menu is customized according to the customers even when it is extremely crowded.

Food was typical Chennai style. Very good service and attention to customer questions. Was worth the wait and people can try once. Not a huge seating area so waiting time can be more during busy days.

The food is so good here. If you want to try authentic south indian food this place can be the best one. Of all the dishes we have ordered Karuvae Pillai milagu chicken dry was an awesome one it was so spicy but still the best dish we had there. Briyani is also good but not that great. Nice restaurant!!!

Good. All the dishes were delicious except few. Mutton kola was so good. Both chicken and Mutton Briyani was good. The unlimited non veg thali was okayish coz it's too costly. Prawn we ordered was not nice, it was half cooked. Drinkshakes were so yummy. Gulkand shake was awesome. They have changed the menu. Many Dishes were not there in the menu like before. The service was excellent. Overall a good place to have a South Indian cuisine.

You get extremely flavorful, delicious food here - hands down one of the best thaali's I've had in the city. Non veg options are a plenty, so if you're really confused just get the biriyani or the thaali. Super reasonably priced too.

Absolutely loved my experience here. They serve amazing authentic south Indian food. Every dish that I tried was absolutely delicious and honestly I could'nt find any fault with it.
Must try dishes are - mutton kair katti kola which is basically mutton mince and variety of spices made into a ball and deep fried. Prawns, vanjaram fish fry were also really good.
Service and cost is also good and reasonable.

I would say a 'must try' place. A decent restuarant with nice south indian and a light kerala touch in some dishes.

Nanari sarbath, maplai chicken 65, nandu rasam were awesome.

Nice ambient and at a very prime location, just front gate junction of Loyolla college. You will have vallet parking for easy convenience.

A place with a good ambience and good food.

Firstly they have a valet parking here and the staff here are quite courteous.

The food is of great taste & variety and quality is top notch. Its a must try experience.

Next is the ambience which is quite simple still elegant. The table decorations as cutlery placements as elegant too.

This is my experience, actually my friend had to wait for me for some time, on seeing they also provided her a papad snack, which may be simple but shows their care towards their customers.

(For Veg ) : The only draw back is the Veg biriyani was a quite sweet and gravy component is little less.

Otherwise if you are a chettiand cuisine lover, this is a must try place.

My Picks :

1. Must try : Vazha poo kozhai urundai and Panagam.
2. Starter : Crispy Guntur corn.
3. Mains : Any Biryani on the carte.
