Delicious preparations.
Authentic South Indian taste at a very reasonable price .
Quick service.
One must visit the place to relish the taste of various dishes including idli, dosa, vada, sambhar.
Also one gets the e-bill to save paper.
Great step to go eco-friendly.

worth visiting, the taste was 100% perfect for what we had ordered, the service was prompt, do try once for their authentic taste and definitely better than their neighbor competitors.

South Indian Food Joints are in abundance in Udaipur. From small roadside Carts to Restaurants, one can find a price suitable place for everyone. The place we are about to review in this post is not a new place but was closed for almost 2 years & have been opened after revamping its name & just the name.
Changing From Madras Coffee House to Aravindham Udaipur the place has kept everything same from its Menu to Staff to the taste & quality. They offer a range of South Indian food that is not being offered anywhere in the city. With the familiar dishes like idli, sambhar, dosa etc. they also have rasam, pongal & bhaths.
We tried their
- South Indian Tiffin
- Koorma Poori
- Mysore Masala Dosa
- Filter Coffee
South Indian Tiffin consisted of many dishes in small sizes like Mini Dosa, Idli, Vada, Pongal, Sweet Bhath, Chutneys & Sambhar. Everything was good in taste with Vada & Idli being the star. Then came Koorma Poori, in it there was a mixed Koorma veg, Aloo Palaya & Poori to go with it. The plate was filled with flavours, Poori's were fluffy & Aloo Palaya was buttery smooth, Koorma was also good. Then came Mysore Masala Dosa in which masala was asked seperately, the dosa was layered with spicy chutney & was crisp. The taste was very good, masala, sambhar & chutney's were all balanced in taste. Lastly we ordered Filter Coffee which was really good.
We paid for everything except for coffee which was complimentary. The bill came to around INR 400

As I am from Chennai, I was surprised that I got the exact taste which I get in restaurants back home. If you are in Udaipur and want to taste south Indian food then you can definitely visit this restaurant. Especially Poori, Vada, Dosa and filter coffee are excellent.
