Butter Masala Dosa a popular Suggestion here by the locals and google reviews is really good and a must try here .

Filter Coffee and Gulab Jamun are really good and other famous item in the menu. Decently Priced and Well Maintained . Not Heavily Crowded . Chikmagalur Main Road with good parking available.

We ordered Butter masala dose and idly wada,
Dose was good and tasty. Idly and wada was cold served even in the morning and sambar was not upto mark. Thumbs up to coffee.

When in Chikmagalur, never miss to visit Town Canteen and try their Butter masala dosa and Kesar bath. If going during morning and evening hours, be prepared to wait for long time.

The masala butter Dosa was awesome.
Also try the Vada and kesari baat.

Mouth watering Butter ( Benne) Masala & Plain Dosa. One must try their Butter Dosa , soft idly . Service was very quick even though the restaurant was full. Overall the reasonable rates also adds to the 5 star rating of the place.

Idlis and Vada are so yummy. Sambhar is really good. Butter Dosas are something not to be misses. Also pulav and kesari bath is really good. If in Chikkamagaluru then visiting Town Canteen is a must. And the Gulab Jamuns are exceptionally good!

You will age a few years before your get a seat, a bit more for your order to come and you will be so disappointed how this is just a overhyped place to eat. Service definitely needs to be improved. Can u believe we had to ask for sambhar for the dosa? And it dint come. Water wasn't served.

There is no other tiffin Center open this early in the town. That’s one good thing about this hotel.
We ordered Masala dosa , Sambar vada, Tea and Coffee.
Taste was just “okayish”.
I have had very tasty Breakfast dishes before in several diff cities and states; but for the fame this hotel has got in town, it has to improve a lot lot more regarding the taste.!!!
After reading the reviews and the talks that a hope was being created, I thought of checking it out myself and that came out to be true.!
That was just a normal dosa n normal sambar vada..
except that the coffee was good.
