Kamat Upachar Veg Restaurant -Chatra

Not a great experience.. Just go here if hungry and no option.. not that great taste .. Tea and coffee are pathetic here.. tea is served like its prepared 2 days back..

I wanted to give zero stars but didn't do that.. very very much dissatisfied with the kamat brand. The food tastes like previous days food... And we ordered tea which was served with milk power and water no tea powder also .. highly recommend not to visit this hotel..

They also have Verity of snacks for sale like biscuits and sweets.. and all these items are expired......

Girmit was good and enough for 2 people. Masala dosa is good. hotel not crowded on weekdays. ample parking available.

Quick service. Decent washroom. Next to petrol station and fair space for parking vehicles. They do sell Kamat brand pickles and confectionaries.

Pathetic service.. toilets are stinking and I feel public toilets are maintained better these days than how they maintain it here…
Food quality is average … they have to learn to prepare even tea properly…

Better than other dhabas in the highway for a quick lunch or dinner. The place is well maintained. There is a fuel station and Cafe Coffee Day next to it. The food is above average and service is quick. Good pit stop.

The service is very bad, they only had dosa and roti sabji but the taste was too bad. We ordered masala dosa, the coconut chutney was not well made also the tea was pathetic. Only good thing was the sambhar. Washrooms were unclean and it felt like it is a kamat 1st copy.

Next to Coffee Day. This place is crowded on weekends and not very busy on weekdays. We have experienced different treatment each time we've been here. Once there was no one to take the order and another time there were too many waiters. The ladies who serve are nice and serve with a smile. Even the old man who cleans the table is humble and eversmiling. You feel welcomed when you see the smiling faces. This time it was empty at 4.30 pm and we ordered Dosa. It took a lot of time as their tawa was not hot and the Dosa also was not great. Tea coffee was good. Restrooms are clean. They Have Indian toilets.
Consistency is the main issue here.
