Darjeeling Mall

A market that is very neatly arranged and clean. Since it is a tourist spot, everything costs a little high. The price of tea in particular has disappointed me a little. Everything else is fine. Seller are polite. Everyone is helpful enough. There is lots of hotel and restaurant near by the market side.

The main attraction while visiting Darjeeling and most lively place in the district.Everybody irrespective to the age, class and other criteria, can enjoy in this place. Please do not forget to go to the Oxford Book Shop, Glenery and the Tea Shops. Of course, do enjoy the Street Food.

This was the first time I went to the hills. More than a decade ago, had seen a dream about small hill town with a hill top central location where the locals just hang out in a small and cozy space, just the way they show in some of those dreamy Bollywood movies. And that's what I found this place to be. A place where local and tourists hang out, play music, do some fun activity, sit around the amphitheater, small stores selling souvenirs, tea stores, road side snack etc. Stayed in Darjeeling for 4 days and visited the Mall every evening. And yes, I guess you must go there at least once in evening. The place is neat and clean and locals follow the rules and discipline so no one rides bikes/scooters etc. I hope it remains this way giving the tourists memories to cherish.

Nice place to visit in Darjeeling. Full entertainment and value for money. You can enjoy street singing programme also. It is one of the attractive site seen in Darjeeling. Visitors can spend their time by watching people around them.

An excellent place for hanging out, shopping, foods. Just awesome place with good vibes. The place is also well maintained with fine cleanliness and amazing mountain view.

Wonderful place. Every time I visit this place, I discover it newly. You can do shopping, or just see so many activities around you just by sitting on a chair with a cup of Darjeeling Tea. Kids can enjoy horse riding, then can play here safely as vehicles are not allowed here. I like each and every corner of this place.

The town centre. Beautiful, historical. Great view from this area. Lends itself to a lot of cultural art. Lots of nice shops you can buy essentials, art,books. Has coffee shops to hangout as well.

One of the most iconic places of Darjeeling. You will get lots of options for shopping but keep in mind that you will get very limited Made in Darjeeling products here. Most of the woolen materials that are sold are made in Ludhiana/Punjab and not in Darjeeling. You have to bargain a lot.

There are some iconic eateries in this place like Keventers and Glenarys. Do not miss out the Darjeeling tea that is sold by the street vendors and the most important thing to keep in mind, the entire zone is a No Smoking zone.
